About the artist
Victor Marion, also known as Vicxsan, is a fashion photographer and visual artist based in France. He trained in Montreal, earning a Vocational Studies Diploma (DEP) in photography, which gave him a solid technical mastery of image creation. His artistic journey was further enriched by a year-long stay in Japan, a foundational experience that profoundly shaped his style. His pseudonym, Vicxsan, pays homage to this cultural connection (with "san" being a Japanese honorific suffix).
Passionate about art in all its forms, he's developed a unique approach to fashion photography, exploring it through runway shows, editorials, lookbooks, and narrative projects. For him, every shot is an opportunity to build a cohesive visual universe, where aesthetics, texture, and posture intentionally interact.
Today, Victor Marion collaborates with both emerging and established brands, who are looking for a distinctive vision that blends artistic sensibility with technical precision. His work is part of a contemporary vision of fashion photography, drawing inspiration from both Japanese culture and European avant-garde movements.
