About the artist
Based in Montreal, Sam is a professional hairstylist with over six years' experience in fashion, editorial, advertising and creative projects. Recognized for his precision, creativity and refined sense of aesthetics, he considers hairstyling as much an art as a visual language. His creations are distinguished by a balance between innovation and timeless technique, giving life to expressive, striking, made-to-measure looks.
A graduate of hairdressing school in Calgary, Sam quickly made his debut at Calgary Fashion Week before moving to Montreal to expand his artistic career. In the metropolis, he collaborated on major events such as MAD Festival and other high-profile showcases, building a solid reputation for his ability to deliver under pressure while maintaining impeccable attention to detail.
His work has also crossed borders, being published in international magazines such as Moevir, L'ARTIKLE, Vigour, Mobi Journal, Haute Punch, Vitale, Edith and Selin. These publications highlight his versatility and ability to adapt to a variety of creative and aesthetic directions.
